Bathroom Vanities

The vanity is an essential part of any bathroom design. In fact, for many homeowners, bathroom vanities are the centerpieces of the chosen décor, and great care is taken to ensure that the perfect vanity is chosen. Today, these bathroom furniture pieces are available in a seemingly endless array of sizes, styles, and designs. The up side of this is that there is sure to be something for just about everyone; but the down side is that one often has to sort through many different designs before the “right” one is found.

Bathroom-Vanities.info wants to help you find the perfect bathroom vanity for both your personal style, as well as for your available budget. Because there are so many options, it can seem like quite the challenge to wade through the myriad possibilities and come out with the right vanity for your home. To help with this process, we have developed our website to be used as a resource of information regarding all of the vanity options and how to narrow down one’s search. We do our best to only post information that is honest and non-biased, and we do not endorse or recommend any one product, company, or manufacturer over another.  Our goal is to simply provide the public with reliable, honest information.

Bathroom vanities come in all sizes, shapes, colors, and styles. From large, extravagant Victorian-era designs to ultra-sleek contemporary styles, there is something for just about every décor imaginable. That being said, not every style is appropriate for a given bathroom space. For instance, a large bathroom space can seem stark and barren if the selected vanity is of small-scale design. Similarly, a small bathroom can appear cramped and confining if the vanity design is too large. Understanding your available floor space and the appropriate options is an important part of selecting the perfect sink and vanity.

If you happen to be working with limited floor space, there are some designs that will help maximize what you have available. When it comes to these situations, less really is more. A small pedestal sink, wall-mounted mirror, and a narrow cabinet can provide one with great functionality as well as make the room appear larger than it actually is. Vessel style sinks atop a small cabinet is also a popular style for creating an open aesthetic within a confined space.

While it is best to avoid extravagant, large-scale furniture when dealing with a small bathroom space, for larger spaces this type of furniture is ideal. Large bathroom vanities and other bathroom furniture can make an oversized bathroom feel warm and cozy. Victorian and other traditional designs are particularly popular for these larger spaces, as their large stature and intricate designs help to create a solid, dignified aesthetic. However, it should be noted that these designs are often a great deal more expensive than their more streamlined counterparts, and as such are not necessarily recommended for those with a limited budget, unless of course, one can find them used and does not mind doing a bit of restoration work.
